1. Standard we work to
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the marketing site and the learning platform: sufficient colour contrast, full keyboard navigation, semantic headings and landmarks, and alt text on informational images.
2. Measures in place
- Keyboard-operable navigation, forms and quiz controls, with visible focus states.
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labelling on interactive components like the exam mega-menu and mobile drawer.
- Colour is never the only signal — correct/incorrect answers and status pills carry text or an icon alongside colour.
- Text resizes cleanly up to 200% without breaking layout or losing content.
3. Known limitations
Some third-party exam simulator screens are built to replicate the real CPA/CMA/EA exam interface as closely as possible, since candidates need to be comfortable with that exact interface on test day — a handful of those screens don't yet fully conform to AA. We're working through them, prioritising the ones every candidate encounters first.
4. Compatibility
Built and tested against current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with common screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) on the core learning flows — login, lessons, practice questions and the study planner.
5. Reporting a barrier
If you hit an accessibility barrier anywhere on Scholexo, tell us — email [email protected] with the page and what happened. We aim to acknowledge every accessibility report within 2 business days and to give you a fix timeline, not just a confirmation.
6. Review
This statement is reviewed whenever a major part of the platform changes, and at least once a year regardless.
